Make sure to download this wonderful piece of art from SpringRain, and color it with your own style! From SpringRain: "The Strawberry Shee is somewhat of a mystery. For one thing, she is female and no one knows her name. For another thing, her skin is pink with red speckles and she has magenta hair. Around her neck resides a sparkling opal. No one knows from whence she came, yet on one of her journeys in her star ship she stumbled upon this new world... New to her at least; The Shee Ark! She is the kind, nurturing type with a love for all living things. The Norns, however, are having mixed reactions upon seeing this tall creature for the first time. She is no stranger to the creations of her brethren. She just never knew there were some lost out there!"

Development Challenge
Status: CLOSED
Deadline: November 10, 2012
Entry Location: ccsf {at} creaturescommunity (dot) com
Prize: Unique C3/DS Agent Everyone knows how important developers are to keeping Creatures content new, and the CCSF is an excellent time to celebrate these accomplishments. As if the last minute crunch time to the beginning of the festival wasn't enough, this development challenge provides just about two weeks to produce something new! Developers of all skill levels are welcome to join in! The finished product may be something useable in either Creatures 1, Creatures 2, or Creatures 3/Docking Station. Depending on the number of entries, all developers will be rewarded with a special prize, or a vote will be held. All creations will become a part of the CCSF! From Jessica: "The Creatures of a long-forgotten world have struggled to survive for hundreds of years. Though they have adapted to the harsh conditions, they are in desperate need of a way to better enjoy their lives. Imagine that something mysterious appears in their world one day as a long-awaited hope. Is it a neverending fruit tree? A critter who gathers food? A toy that creates food when played with? Get creative and save this theoretical clan! Even the simplest creation could make life easier, or perhaps their strong survival skills warrant a different sort of object? Remember, anything goes with this Creatures development challenge!"

Shee Design Contest
Status: CLOSED (3 Entries)
Deadline: November 10, 2012
Entry Location: ccsf {at} creaturescommunity (dot) com
Prize: Unique C3/DS Agent Throughout the Creatures games, there have only been scant clues as to what the Shee may have looked like. Some images and statues provided some evidence, yet a real member of the Shee species has never been encountered. As we travel through many new worlds during the CCSF 2012 through the story of one Shee, take a moment to envision what this species might truly look like! The Shee design has always been up for debate, and now is the perfect opportunity to share your ideas about how this mysterious species appears. Based on the number of entries, all entrants will receive a prize or a vote will be held. From Jessica: "This contest can be completed in many different ways, either through computer programs or with a simple pencil and paper. There is no one correct way to draw the Shee: Let your imagination take over! Images may be scaled down to showcase on the CCSF site, and image dimensions should be reasonable. The Shee may have possibly evolved over the series, since each game is set in a different time. You are more than welcome to include a short description with your entry if you would like to explain it in more detail! Please just keep in mind that the main focus of this contest is on drawing. Create your Shee design today!"
Space Travel Contest
Status: CLOSED (3 Entries)
Deadline: November 10, 2012
Entry Location: ccsf {at} creaturescommunity (dot) com
Prize: Unique C3/DS Agent The CCSF 2012 is centered around new worlds and exploration. From the very beginning in Creatures 1, we were told about how important space travel was to the Shee. We caught glimpses of their spaceships, yet even the Shee Ark and Capillata were not entirely designed for Shee use. What might the Shee use to traverse the galaxy? This contest is all about imagination! Come up with a spacecraft that might be used by the Shee: It might be designed purely for fast travel, or it could be more focused on gathering life and colonization. As with many other contests, a vote will only be held when a large number of entries are received. From Jessica: "A spacecraft design for the Shee offers limitless possibilities! An important aspect of this contest is that it is not solely limited to drawing: Entries could be made out of building blocks, or even be crafted from wood. Written descriptions may also accompany entries, but these should be brief. Use your skills and have a wonderful time thinking up a spacecraft design! Note that these do not have to follow along with the Shee Ark or Capillata design: The Shee could conceivably use many different spaceships, after all! Entries may use multiple images for different angles and views, but please try to stick with under four or five. Design away!"

Prize: Unique C3/DS Agent Wolfing runs have always been a strong element of the Creatures series! To be able to create a world; hatch a bunch of Norns, Ettins, or Grendels; and watch them learn on their own is an amazing sight. To honor this tradition, a wolfing run challenge will be held towards the end of the CCSF 2012. This unique opportunity will place multiple Creatures together in a Creatures 3/Docking Station world, where their experience will be documented! The winner will be determined based on a number of factors, including life span and breeding. Please make sure to include your name, your Creature's name, and your Creature's file when entering! Writing Prompt Challenge
Status: CLOSED (1 Entry)
Deadline: November 12, 2012
Entry Location: ccsf {at} creaturescommunity (dot) com
Prize: Unique C3/DS Agent Over the years, many stories and tales have been written about the Creatures universe. The Shee have been important characters, despite their mysterious ways with tea and biscuits! Use the following writing prompt to write a short story based in the world of Creatures. The only main stipulation for this challenge is that entries should be under 7,500 words. However, if you end up exceeding this limit, simply make a note of it when entering: In the worst case, your story will be featured in the CCSF! Either all entrants will receive a prize, or the story with the most votes will receive a prize. Write on with creativity! From Jessica: "The home world of the Shee, established thousands of years ago, has finally crumbled. The species has fled from the derelict world, leaving very few behind. At the last working space port, a pieced together mess of a ship lies in wait. Abandoned crates litter the area, left to crumble in the last places where they were dropped during the last mass exodus. Dust has already begun to creep into every crevice, but there is a newly marked trail of timid footprints from the entrance to the spaceport. The lonely sound of the wind rushing through the empty corridors sends an eerie emptiness hurtling through the air. Yet something stirs among the rubble..."
