Created by Ylukyun for C3/DS (Grendel Breed) If the Colortrue Ettins weren't enough, now you can enjoy another species with the same sort of genetics! The Colortrue Grendels feature updated color genetics that allow their colors to mix, rather than being inherited from one parent or the other. This pack includes egg agents for the following colors: Aquamarine
Brown
Cyan
Dark Red
Gold
Indigo Download the Colortrue Grendels (12 KB RAR File)
From Ylukyun: "These Grendels are inspired by the Spice Norns and based on CFE no mutate Chichi Norns. They have pigment genes moved around, making their colors mix instead of being inherited. They have a slight aversion to Ettins, but do not have a neurotransmitter to make them afraid of or angry at other species. People are welcome to use these files as a base for creating new color varieties." IMPORTANT: The Jungle Grendel sprites must be installed. Colortrue Grendels should not be mixed with other breeds, as the offspring may be sliders or die. Splices with Colortrue Ettins are possible, though...

Submitted by Kitty Tikara for C3/DS Time for a sampling of some Grendels from a feral run! These Creatures fit right in with our industrial and technological theme of the day, right down to their photo. Even though many elements of C3/DS are natural, it's always fun to have some more variety with objects and Creatures who are a little more industrialized! Enjoy the day with this group of feral run Grendels! Included in this download are the following: Aboriginal (25th Generation Female Grendel)
Hot (22nd Generation Male Grendel)
System (25th Generation Female Grendel)
Tacky (25th Generation Female Grendel) Download the Feral Run Grendels (230 KB RAR File)
From Kitty Tikara: "The only type of industrial or technological Creature that's really out there are the Metallophagus Grendels, so I chose them. These are some of the more successful Creatures from my feral run. They have always been good breeders, and they live in an interesting place. I do have to admit that they lived in the hub and workshop, and not in the Biodome: The Biodome just looked prettier!"
Written by Jessica as Part of the Shee Journey Series It was a welcome surprise when the ship picked up a mass amount of activity originating from a planet in a nearby star system. I had to keep the Norns from getting too close to the controls: They seemed fascinated with the buttons and dials, yet one wrong move could send us hurtling off into uncharted space. Surprisingly, both the Ettins and Norns had adapted to life aboard the spacecraft. Yet those cages almost ate away their very essence when my assistants locked them away. I even had misgivings about some of the tests: A young one cried out when I picked him up roughly, and my heart felt like it was breaking. I was careful to keep these thoughts out of my reports. The institute would have been very upset if its prime researcher was showing signs of anything more than analytical curiosity. The tea bubbled ever so gently as I sipped its warm contents. The exploratory vessel took off, almost with a grin. It was sure to return with something interesting from this planet. Atmospheric scans indicated that this was not such an organic planet: Industrial smoke filled some parts of the world, and it all was rather advanced. Up until this point, my voyage had taken me to very natural habitats. I anxiously awaited the opening of the portal. It could have been minutes or hours that I sat lost in thought, but even before the vessel could communicate back its findings, there was an unsettling feeling in the Norns. They seemed afraid of something... Very afraid. From Jessica: "The CCSF has been going on for nearly a week now, and our journey is far from over! Today features an industrial world that seems to hold a dangerous mystery. One may be able to deduce just what that danger is from the reaction of the Norns, though it may be worth checking back to learn more. Have another wonderful day enjoying the past downloads, and looking forward to the new posts!"
